Ainsdale is a large village
situated about 3 miles south of Southport on the Sefton Coast in
Northwest England. Most of the village dates to the 1960's and 70's,
but there has been a settlement here since the 9th Century AD.
Ainsdale is a popular place to live as it is close to Liverpool
and Southport, but is nestled within a large system of sand dunes,
which are part of a chain of nature reserves along the Sefton Coast.
